The Law of Attraction/Laws of the Universe part 5

The Traditionally Scientific Explanation If you’re one who needs things to be a little easier to prove, there is also a different explanation for how the law of attraction works. By focusing on attaining a new reality and by believing it is possible, we tend to take more risks, notice more opportunities, and open ourselves up to new possibilities.

Conversely, when we don’t believe that something is in the realm of possibilities for us, we tend to let opportunities pass by unnoticed. When we believe we don’t deserve good things, we behave in ways that sabotage our chances at happiness. By changing our self talk and feelings about life, we reverse the negative patterns in our lives and create more positive, productive and healthy ones. One good thing leads to another, and the direction of a life can shift from a downward spiral to an upward ascent.

One problem I have with the book The Secret, and with some people's interpretation of the Law of Attraction, is that it's singularly the belief we hold that good things will come to us that will bring us all that we desire, without any sort of action behind that belief. Studies on optimists show that it is the optimistic viewpoint that drives the proactive behaviors that in turn bring optimists such great results in their lives. Optimists don't receive their benefits from their attitudes alone--it's the behavior the attitudes inspire that creates real change.

More importantly, critics of The Secret and other books about the Law of Attraction point out the very real concern that people may start to blame themselves for negative events that are outside their control, such as accidents and injuries, layoffs due to the financial crisis, or major illnesses.

My belief is that we can't always control our circumstances (everything is NOT all about us!) but we can control our responses to them. In this vein, the Law of Attraction can provide the optimism and proactive attitude that's associated with resilience in difficult situations, but must not be used as a tool of self-blame. Our responses to the challenges we face can make us stronger in the end, and the Law of Attraction can be used for that end, but should not be applied negatively, or it can be more destructive than helpful.

So with enlightenment and knowledge the laws and rules change. Everything comes, slowly first and then at an accelerated pace as we step forward into our missions. There are certain laws that govern the Universe. Some call them the “Universal Laws” or “Laws of Truth” but they are in place as a form of checks and balances to try to naturally keep our reality centered. These laws can work for or against us depending on what position we have placed ourselves in context with the higher dimensions of our existence.

Every person has chosen a position or placement of time and space to exist in. Why we are where we are is because of our experiences and eventual choices that progress us towards the future. Sometimes the laws are called “Moral Principles” and are based on our discernment of good and evil.

The Laws of the Universe are here to help us. The moral laws are the understanding of what actions do and do not lead us into in our life. Because good and evil are discovered and used, not created, the principles and laws are formulated by us to aid us in all aspects of growth be it physical or spiritual.

The level of joyousness is entirely controlled by the individual. The manner in which we live, die and then what we do after that is individual. Cosmic Laws are powerful energies of unknown quantity perceived by humans through direct observation, meditation/contemplation or revelation.

There are a few things to note about Cosmic or Universal laws:

1.       Energy is the basis of all existence and is knowing of all things in the universe.

2.       Energy includes aspects or locations that are experiencing different levels or dimensions of consciousness.

3.       All portions of consciousness are in continuous interaction in the oneness of energy.

4.       The "soul" is a portion that chooses to experience the density of human embodiment.

5.       Soul consciousness often encounters difficulty in shifting the human intellect from its primary focus on the five survival senses of physical life in order to integrate its wisdom.

6.       Once integrated by the soul, human consciousness recognizes how energy in the
form of Cosmic Laws works to create "Heaven on Earth".

The laws of attraction can bring wonderful benefits to one's life. When a person is beginning to understand the concept it is important to change the way you perceive things. So focusing on what you want in life (instead of what you don't want) can help you clarify goals and go after them, working to develop the kind of life that can bring less stress.

Paying attention to what you want in life can also help you to realize what's not working in your life, so you can change things. Also by focusing on what you want and believing that you will get it can help you notice opportunities that may otherwise escape your attention, can inspire you to take action toward what you want, and can help you to develop a world view characterized by greater levels of optimism.

While some believers in the laws of attraction do indeed believe that every event we find in our lives--even those that appear to be outside of our control--have been brought by our habitual thought patterns, many people (like me) see that this belief can actually be destructive to people's psychological health and take a more moderate view.

There is absolutely no evidence that events that appear outside of our control are actually caused by thoughts we have, which we haven't acted on and the belief that we are responsible for any negative event that happens to us can add tremendous additional stress to a situation that's already stressful, such as a serious illness, unforeseen financial crisis (like what many, many people are experiencing right now), or freak accident.

A different philosophy I would recommend is to use the laws of attraction to better any situation you find yourself in, but to accept that certain negative events in life are outside of our control. Therapists present the view that we can't always choose the circumstances we face, but we can control our response to them, and that often makes all the difference.

Another thing to remember with the laws of attraction is that we tend to get what we focus on the most, so it's important to focus on what we want and not what we don't want. Remembering to focus on what we want to see happen in our lives can help stave off rumination and negative thought patterns and bring more benefits.

Intuition So let me step away from this part of the subject and discuss intuition as it has a lot to do with how we attract and “think” about things in our lives and also about what we feel we deserve. Most people are led to believe that humans are limited and fragile creatures and are only capable of perceiving a small amount of the world around us. We have been taught that we are victims and should accept the conditions that befall us.

Life is a series of choices and everyday - everything you choose creates your reality. In modern day society we no longer need to be concerned about survival skills. Unlike most animals who still depend on their extra senses for them to survive all of our needs are taken care so our sensory skills have become quite inferior.

We all know about energy. All creation depends on the interaction of two forces females/yin, male/ yang.  The brain has 2 hemispheres, which control the opposite sides of the body. The left side is dominated by the right brain or feminine side while the left brain governs the right or masculine side.

The dictionary definition of intuition is "quick and ready insight" and "the act or process of coming to direct knowledge without reasoning or inferring." It is derived from the Latin word "intueri" which means, "to see within." Intuition is a lot like dreaming. We don't know how we do it, but we do it.

Intuitive knowledge comes to us spontaneously and directly, without the use of reason or logical thought.  Some people trust their intuition - they "believe" in it and act on it. Others deny intuitive information, or distrust it as "irrational."

In philosophy, intutions is the power of obtaining knowledge that cannot be acquired either by inference or observation, by reason or experience. As such, intuition is thought of as an original, independent source of knowledge, since it is designed to account for just those kinds of knowledge that other sources do not provide. Knowledge of necessary truths and of moral principles is sometimes explained in this way.

Attention is the power behind imagination and imagination is the source of all creation. If you can imagine it and concentrate or intend it you can make it happen. It is the vehicle for the transmission of essential life energy. Wherever attention goes – energy flows. That is the key to attracting things in your life.

Explanations usually come along with intuitive messages on a "need to know basis."   When the bigger, more important messages need to surface, they will, so pay attention! Listen with your heart! We know that the heart has many more neurons than it would need just for circulation of blood.

By following through on your everyday hunches, you are actually taking test drives, virtually honing in on your listening skills. These skills will serve you well. Everyone is apparently somewhat psychic, but many people just have flabby psychic muscles. Learning to listen to your inner dialog tones and strengthens this muscle. The more you use your intuition the better you get at it. When we choose to ignore our gut instincts, we are only hurting ourselves.

Listening to your intuition is the essence of art and creativity and soulful living. Intuition is what you use to find the purpose of your life and your place in the world. Once you awaken your inner guide by unlocking the wisdom of your subconscious mind, you already know what to do.  Being objective is harder when you are emotionally involved. It is more mature to admit your emotions as a factor than to deny them. This is also a way to attract more of what is right for you in your life.

There are three types of Intuition

1.       Personal Intuition - knowledge from the personal unconscious that has been taken in, stored and synthesized. This knowledge comes to us intuitively in the form of "gut feelings," creative insights and through our "little voices."

2.       Interpersonal Intuition - information about other people derived from unconscious observation and their non-verbal behavior. This may take the form of accurate first impressions, and help one in being a good judge of character.

3.       Transpersonal Intuition - A term for psychic phenomena. This is intuitive information about situations, places and people unknown to the personal unconscious; it typically comes in a way that defies ordinary time and space. This would include things like precognitive dreams, remote viewing, synchronicities, etc.

If you look at the inner workings of a watch you would see many wheels moving separately but yet efficiently with each other. The “mind” works this way too. We have different “minds or selves”.

1.       The conscious self is the part we commonly think of as “I am”. It is the human or social self and is centered in your head. It is the part that speaks and communicates by talking. It is the director, decision maker and goal setter. It is considered masculine because it is forceful and is the role of the teacher, leader and the beginning of all things.

2.       The subconscious or natural self is directed by the conscious self and never “sleeps”. It is highly influenced, feminine in nature and its job is manifesting the intentions of the conscious self and achieving goals. It is centered in your solar plexus. It has the power to commune with other aspects of the natural world and feels unity with them. This is why many people are sensitive to weather changes because our physical body systems are controlled by the natural self and possesses the wisdom or knowledge of how to maintain and develop the body to maturity.

3.       The super-conscious is also called the higher self and is the part of the mind that goes beyond the world of nature and encompasses all that there is. It is our connection to the Divine nature and can be encountered in fantasy, imagination and dreams. Memories and wisdom from the past are contained within these realms. These remain outside your awareness until your conscious self is ready to bring it in. It is centered just over your head in the subtle body.

Energy is the essence of all that is.  The desk in your room that you see as being solid wood is actually atoms and is not solid at all.  In fact it is a great deal more open space than solidity.  Our bodies, when broken down to their smallest levels are also energetic frequencies.

All creation depends upon the interaction of 2 forces: male/yang/fire, which is dominated by the left side of the brain and controls the right side of the body. This is our day-to-day functioning. Fire people are outgoing and active and tend to be initiators and organizers.

The female/yin/water is dominated by the right side of the brain and controls the left side of the body. This is our intuitive ability. Water people are sensitive and introverted and enjoy solitude and mental rather than physical labor.

Intuition Explored - Being in the Flow In order to truly develop a good sense of attraction we must first learn that we have the power within us to do just that. We must learn first to trust that our higher senses (psychic) or intuition is indeed there in the first place. What is your intuitive skill?
